IbB Engineering is an umbrella organization with no authority for freelance experts for the analysis and reconstruction of traffic accidents. IbB Engineering initiates and supervises generally important projects for its partners, is concerned with collection of technical data and basic research for the field of analysis and reconstruction of road traffic accidents. The findings will be passed on to the partners, but also to other interested individuals and organizations. The dissemination of information is dependent upon a review of the interested parties. IbB Engineering is active on the following fields:

1. Fundamental research (theory, experiments, analysis)
2. Systematic analysis of documents from the field
3. Collaboration with colleges and universities. Supervision of student projects and theses
4. Development and supply of computational methods and work equipment
5. Organization of conferences and seminars for the education and training of the IbB partners, but also for interested other parties /li>
6. Offers for a quality management through audits on the basis of the relevant standards, participation in proficiency tests
7. Creation of publications with which the acquired knowledge is passed on to our partners and interested other parties

Connected to IbB Engineering as a partner are 74 engineering offices in Europe (Belgium, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary) and in the United States with approximately 200 experts. The partners are working for police, prosecutors, courts, lawyers, insurance companies, private individuals, other public organisations.
